Issue 11: Noah`s Ark in lace

During the work for the last 10 issues of „Klöppeln mit Juliane“, we received a lot of pattern wishes from our readers and other interested parties. Thereby animal motives where requested very often. We assumed the topic and created this issue full of these animal pattern:

1 x Noah`s Ark, window hanger (fits in a round frame, diameter 17,2cm ) 5 x Little exotic creatures: Giraffes (ca. 8cm x 9,5cm), Hippo (ca. 12,5cm x 8,5cm), Ape (ca. 9cm x 14,5cm), Lion (ca. 13cm x 9cm) and Chameleon (ca. 10cm x 8cm) 1 x Morive "Hart" (ca. 18,5cm x 15cm) 1 x Motiv "Owl" (ca. 13cm x 16cm) 1 x Collier "Snake" (in Chrysanthe technique) 1 x Earrings "Peacock" (fits in rings, diameter 7cm) 1 x Motiv "Lions head" (ca. 26cm x 30cm) 1 x Motiv "Mops" (ca. 23cm x 18cm) Variable pattern "Snails in love", a simple handkerchief or band lace in Torchon technique (band length (inside/leading) = 25cm, width = 3,5cm) 1 x Motiv "Elephant" (ca. 17cm x 11,5cm), designed by Christl Schenk

Most of the pattern are knowingly simple. So it is possible to do them easily and without remorse to use them as fashion application.

The editorial part of the issue presents the bobbin lace making group "Eulinchen" and Renate Guggi, a lacer maker from Austria (www.sticken-kloeppeln.at). Furthermore the bobbin lace making group Dippoldiswalde invites to their exhibition and the bobbin lace making group for children and young people Oberwiesenthal to their lace making contest.
