„Vom Fadenherbst zu Spitzenwinter“ / „From the autumn od threads to a lace-filled winter“
| Admit it! — Now that you’ve made all the bobbin lace patterns from the last issue of ‚Juliane‘ yourselves, you’re starting to get a little bored and can hardly wait for the next issue to come out. Admittedly, it took a little longer than expected, but the new issue is finally here! Starting now, new ideas and inspiration will turn your previously dull fall into a real “threaded fall” and then ensure a “lace-filled winter.” |

| Articles an Technique As always, there’s plenty of reading material included. Among other things, we report on a workshop at Barbara Uthmann’s bobbin lace school in Annaberg-Buchholz with guests from Idrija, and on the bobbin lace gathering in Rostock, where I had the pleasure of seeing many familiar faces again. In the bobbin lace technique section, Anja Nickell takes a closer look at the topic “adding or removing pairs” this time. This technique can be applied to the bobbin lace sample or to the tree ornament designs featured in this issue. |
